For Fab Friday today Room 21 students looked at the Sycamore Seed and how seed dispersal works for these amazing seeds. We made our own paper 'sycamore seeds' which we also related to spinning helicopter blades. We experimented and asked lots of questions as to how these blades work. We then tested our ideas out on the Junior Playground.
Wow what fun you had looking at how Sycamore Seeds are dispersed. Making your own paper 'sycamore seeds' and testing them out on the Junior Playground was an awesome idea.
